From Rochester NY...

we are playing a show tomorrow!

FROM THE FACEBOOK EVENT:

Phi-Phenomena is a music festival that started in 1996 featuring 10 artists performing in one hour, each giving a 5-minute set with 1-minute intermissions. Though many Phi performers have been from the experimental/noise scene, the music played has also included pop, free jazz, electronica and folk.

In September 2001 the first Phi on Wheels tour occurred in the Northeast and Midwest, consisting of more than 2 dozen players comprising 10 acts and traveling in 4 vehicles, including an RV.

This is the 10 year anniversary of that tour. The Rochester show is, in fact , 10 years to the day of the Rochester show back in 2001.

Local openers (20min sets) will include:
Big Brain and the Drug Cartel
Blood and Bone Orchestra

The Phi set (1hr) will include the following performers:

Laundry Room Squelchers, Cock E.S.P., FUN, Rexor, r.nuuja, Beastview Maul, City Harvest Black, Foot and Mouth Disease, MNT DST and Col. Parmesan

WE PLAY AT 8:30 AT ROCHESTER CONTEMPORARY ART CENTER (or, RoCo) ON EAST AVENUE AND SCIO STREET.

WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU THERE. AND AFTERWARD, WE CAN GO DOWN THE STREET AND WATCH BISON AND WEEDEATER. HOW WONDERFUL.
